PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isolator for which a resistor is not an irreducible configuration requirement. SOLUTION: In the isolator structured by disposing first, second and third center electrodes (10a, 10c, 10b) which cross one and another in an electrically insulated state on one side of a ferrite (11) and connecting one end of each of the first, second, third center electrodes to a fourth common electrode (10d), the other end of the third center electrode (10b) is grounded, the fourth common electrode (10d) is grounded via a capacitor (15) and further a capacitor (16) is disposed between the fourth common electrode (10d) and a first input/output port (P1). Moreover, a second input/output port (P2) is connected to the fourth common electrode (10d), and the other ends of the first, second center electrodes (10a, 10c) are connected to the first input/output port (P1).
