PURPOSE: A driving device of a button holding device for an automatic button supplying machine is characterized by joining precisely buttons to a button finger by a precise linkage working and increasing workability and productivity. CONSTITUTION: A driving device of a button holding device for an automatic button supplying machine comprises: a first slider(107) which is connected with a third link(121), operating the third link(121) of the button holding device(125) joining a button(143) supplied by a button shooter to a button finger(141), followed by closing or opening jaws(124) by rotation of a rotary device(123) of the button holding device(125) to hold or to loose the button(143); a transferring device transferring the first slider(107); a second slider(117) which is connected with an end of a lever connected with a support plate(137), operating the support plates(137) supporting the button(143) held by the jaws(124), followed by widening the space between the support plates(137) to join the button(143) to the button finger(141); and a transferring device transferring the second slider(117).
