摘要 PURPOSE: A wavelength division multiplexing optical transmitter using Fabry-perot lasers is provided to enhance a wavelength lock phenomenon by heightening efficiency of optical injection and reducing an influence of a reflected light. CONSTITUTION: An optical source(410) outputs an incoherence light of a pre-set wavelength band. A circulator(420) includes the first to third ports and outputs an incoherence light which has been inputted to the first port connected with the optical source(410) to the second port and an optical signal which has been inputted to the second port to the third port connected with an external waveguide. A waveguide type diffraction grating(432) includes a multiplexing port(431) connected with the second port of the circulator(420) and demultiplexing ports(432-434), wavelength-division-demultiplexes an incoherence light which has been inputted to the multiplexing port(431) and outputs it to the demultiplexing ports(432-434), and wavelength-division-multiplexes a plurality of channels which have been inputted to the demultiplexing ports(432-434) and output them to the multiplexing port(431). Fabry-perot lasers(440-460) correspond to the demultiplexing ports(432-434) one to one, and include a resonator, a non-reflection layer coated at one end of the resonator, and high reflection layer coated at the other end of the resonator, respectively.
