The resonators comprise glass and metal panels mounted adjacent to the source of sound. The acoustic enclosure for a loudspeaker is itself silent, but allows the generation of sound by variations in pressure within a defined volume. In order to provide a wide range of sounds, the enclosure is provided with two acoustic resonators made of different materials. These are situated around the electro-acoustic transducer. The resonators includes at least one sheet of glass, and a sheet of metal, fixed either to a musical instrument, or to the acoustic enclosure of a loudspeaker. The additional resonator panels provide a much wider range of sounds than can be produced by the loudspeaker, or the musical instrument, operating by itself.
