CONTENT DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND CONTENT DISTRIBUTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain content distribution reflecting the intention of a content author.

SOLUTION: A copyright management platform 2 registers and stores a transmission bit rate proper to reproduce contents received from an application node 1 as attribute data in the case of the registration of the contents. Then an application node 1 at viewing the contents compares a downlink contract transmission bit rate of an end user terminal 5 received from the end user terminal 5 or the like or an effective transmission speed with a transmission bit rate proper to reproduce the contents received from the copyright platform 2, permits the distribution of the contents when the downlink contract transmission bit rate of the end user terminal 5 or the effective transmission speed is equal to or higher than the transmission bit rate required to reproduce the contents, and informs the end user terminal 5 about the disabled provision of the service when not.
