<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advantageous process for forming a film of a crosslinked LC material, which is good in adhesivity to a plastic substrate, saving a processing time and reducing a processing damage loss of an LC film. <P>SOLUTION: The followings are disclosed: a film comprising a polymerized liquid crystal (LC) material and having improved adhesivity to a substrate, in particular, to a plastic substrate; a method for forming the film; a polymerizable LC material for use in forming the film; a laminate and a film comprising the film; and use of the material and the laminate in optical, electrooptic, decorative and security device uses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
