PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication device capable of displaying a clock during the execution of an application program, even if the application program does not have a clock display function. SOLUTION: This portable communication device is a portable communication device in which an application program execution environment is equipped on a mobile station platform, and an application program can be executed on the application program execution environment. In this device, if the application program does not have a clock function, an image A by the application program is displayed on an execution region 35 of a display screen 34, and a clock B which is superimposed on the image A and set by native software is displayed during execution of the application program.
