PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning fork piezoelectric vibrating reed suitable to make a tuning fork piezoelectric vibrator small in size and thin in thickness, and to provide the tuning fork piezoelectric vibrator. SOLUTION: This tuning fork piezoelectric vibrator has a piezoelectric vibrating reed body 26 having a base 22 and a vibrating arm 24 extending from one end of the base 22, a support part 28 provided with a short side 30 provided connectedly to the base 22 and formed along the other end of the base 22 and a long side 32 extending along the lengthwise direction of the piezoelectric vibrating reed body 26 from the end of the short side 30, and mounting parts provided at the tip side of the long side 32 and the short side 30.
