PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing information presentation of a series program to a user, a video recording method, a reproducing method, etc., so as not to make the user's operation troublesome at the time of series contents video recording and reproduction. SOLUTION: By a series management table, series contents are managed by a series ID, an episode number and a video recording status. About respective series contents, contents with the same series ID are displayed in a list with the contents as one. In addition, whether series contents have been recorded is recorded for each episode number, and if the series contents are not recorded, the series contents are surely reserved for video recording at the next broadcasting opportunity.
