PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply container capable of reducing an amount of developer remaining in a developer supply container. SOLUTION: A developer supply container 1 which is freely attachably and detachably mounted to an image forming apparatus includes a container body 1C for containing developer, a discharge opening 10 which is disposed at a peripheral surface of the container body 1C and which permits discharge of the developer therefrom, a feeding member 11 for feeding the developer toward the discharge opening 10 by rotation of the container body 1C and a detection means 20 for detecting an amount of the developer remaining in the container body 1C. The detection means has a detection area of which at least a part overlaps with the discharge opening 10 in a longitudinal direction of the developer supply container 1.
