PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin paper feeder that can be miniaturized and can be further reliable by using a drive system of a cutter unit without requiring any link mechanisms and guide members. SOLUTION: In the thin paper feeder 1, a rotary type is used as the cutter unit 3, and a common motor is used as the drive source of a conveyance mechanism 8 and the cutter unit 3. A one-way clutch 90 is arranged at a drive force transmission route from the motor to the conveyance mechanism 8 and the cutter unit 3, and the one-way clutch 90 is arranged near a conveyance path 5. Additionally, the cutter unit 3 has a fork-like cutter 31 having an arc-like section with a position that nearly overlaps with the rotation center of the drive roller 80 as a center, and the radius of curvature of the rotation track of the fork-like cutter 31 is nearly equal to that of the arc section.
