<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of improving the performance effect of image display at the front of a game area by enabling image display in the entire front surface area of the game area. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a liquid crystal panel 201 arranged in the almost entire area of glass plates 2a and 2b, a white high luminance LED 44 arranged at the rear part of the glass plates 2a and 2b where the liquid crystal panel 201 is arranged for irradiating the liquid crystal panel 201 with light, a lens 46 for diffusing the light emitted from the white high luminance LED 44 to the entire area of the liquid crystal panel 201, and a display control board for controlling the image display on the liquid crystal panel 201. The display control board makes the white high luminance LED 44 perform irradiation at the time of performing the image display on the liquid crystal panel 201.
