PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic matching member having a desired acoustic impedance distribution. SOLUTION: The acoustic matching member 1 for matching the acoustic impedance of an ultrasonic receiving transmitting means with the acoustic impedance of an ultrasonic wave passing fluid is configured by stacking a plurality of resin plates 3 to each of which a plurality of holes 2 in a prescribed pattern are formed by laser. Since the acoustic matching member 1 is formed by stacking the resin plates 3 each formed with the holes 2, the density of the acoustic matching member 1 is small and a low acoustic impedance can be realized. Since the acoustic matching member 1 can be configured by stacking the resin plates 3 at optional positions of which the holes 2 are formed in optional orders, an optional hole distribution is realized as a whole of the acoustic matching member 1 in the stacking direction of the resin plates 3 and in a direction crossing with the stacking direction and a desired acoustic impedance distribution is provided to the acoustic matching member 1.
