PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a user information synchronizing system which performs update processing of data in consideration of dependencies of respective hierarchies while holding the consistency of user information present in different hierarchies. SOLUTION: A user information synchronizing system 100 comprises a user information management server 1 and servers 5a, 5b, and 5c, and the user information management server 1 is provided with a user information management service program 2 and a user information management DB 3. The user information management DB 3 is provided with a user information management table 4 and a server information management table 12. Servers 5a, 5b, and 5c are provided with user information update agent programs 6a, 6b, and 6c and user information repositories 7a, 7b, and 7c respectively. User information update agent programs 6a, 6b, and 6c access various user information repositories 7a, 7b, and 7c via a driver wherein APIs for user information update are integrated. Old information is stored before data update, and data for restoration at a failure of update is held, so that update processing of data can be performed in consideration of dependencies of respective hierarchies while holding the consistency of user information present in different hierarchies.
