摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately provide cylinder intake fresh air amount by accurately providing intake valve passing gas flow amount when burned gas blown back to an intake passage in the overlapping of valves is sucked again into a cylinder. SOLUTION: An electric control device 80 calculates the flow of the intake valve passing gas sucked into the cylinder 21 through an intake valve 32 based on an equation expressing the flow of fluid passed through a restriction part. When the electric control device determines that the cumulative value Mi of the intake valve passing gas flow is larger than O and the gas sucked into the cylinder is fresh air, it calculates the intake valve passing gas flow by using the temperature of the fresh air. When the electric control device determines that the cumulative value Mi is smaller than O and the gas sucked into the cylinder is the burned gas blown back to the intake passage, it calculates the intake valve passing gas flow by using the temperature of exhaust gas.
