PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method by which a wet-on-wet coating system of undercoating and intermediate coating can be realized by efficiently removing the waterdrop stuck to an undercoated body without installing a drying furnace. SOLUTION: This coating method for coating the object to be coated with at least three kinds of paint of the paint for undercoating, the paint for intermediate coating and the paint for final coating is carried out by applying voltage to the object to be coated to accumulate an electrostatic charge on the object to be coated and blowing air toward the prescribed position of the charged object to be coated when the undercoated coating film is in an unhardened state after the paint for undercoating is applied before applying the paint for intermediate coating.
