A mounting aid (22) for erecting a carrier mast for a wind power unit, especially offshore, comprises a tilting hinge with two linked halves removably attached to lower (10) and upper (18) mast parts. At least one of the halves (26,28) comprises connected cylindrical sections to guide the mast part and then swivel to surround it. An independent claim is also included for a process for erecting the mast as above. |
