A textile thread incorporates an electrically conducting strand of metal, carbon fibre or a bonding agent, and is connected to one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs) including e.g. organic LEDs and polymer LEDs applied to the surface or thread core. Also claimed is a commensurate woven web with energy supplied by e.g. galvanic solar cells, fuel cell or mains electricity. |
