A textile assembly produces creped synthetic thread and simultaneously spins a number of bundled filaments. The assembly has several texturising jets that impart a corrugated profile forming a pad that is fed to a chilling unit, and a corrugated thread winding unit. The chilling unit is driven by a chilled belt operating in association with a cool air blower.
