Object coding for machine readable marking by stamping ring markings into object material during manufacture

Information code is made up of rings (1) or ring sections (3) with marker (4) for zero position. Code is directly impressed on workpiece as recessed and raised areas forming the rings/spaces during manufacture by stamp. Varying of rings or ring section patterns, number of rings /sections applied provides increased coding volume. Independent claims included for 1) For coding procedure 2) For manually adjustable stamp.
