PURPOSE: An exhaust control unit of an exhaust system for an internal combustion engine is provided to improve the efficiency of the internal combustion engine by promptly sucking and discharging the exhaust gas with the rotating inertia of a freely rotating blade and modify the noxious substances of the exhaust gas passing by the blade. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust control unit of an exhaust system for an internal combustion engine comprises a casing(104) combined with one inner end portion of a noise absorptive pipe(103) embedded in a housing(102) and having a hollow core portion(104a), a guide jacket(105) having at least one guide vanes(105a) forcibly fitted in one end portion of the casing to guide the exhaust gas and a rotating shaft(106), a rotor(107) having at least one blades(107a) inserted to the rotating shaft of the guide jacket and rotating freely by the exhaust gas, a freely rotating unit of the rotor, and a diffuser(108) combined with the rotating shaft of the rotor to guide the discharged exhaust gas.
