PURPOSE: A starting fuse short device for preventing robbery of an automobile is provided to separate a power connector from a fuse box when an engine starts abnormally by passing starting power through the power connector. CONSTITUTION: A power connector(17) is mounted to the inside of a fuse box. Electric power supplied to an ECU passes through the power connector. A solenoid(13) is installed around the power connector. A power connector operating member is installed between the solenoid and the power connector, and moves the power connector. The operating member includes a motor(21) rotated according to a control signal of the solenoid, and a rod bar(23) coupled to a rotary shaft(21a) of the motor and converting a rotation motion to a rectilinear motion. The rod bar includes a first link member(23a) coupled to the rotation shaft of the motor, and a second link member(23b) coupled to the first link member and the front of a connecting member(15). The power connector is separated from the fuse box by the motion of the connecting member so that an engine is stopped when the engine starts abnormally. |
