APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REVERSING TUBE FOR REPAIRING WATER SUPPLY PIPE, DRAINPIPE AND INDUSTRIAL PIPE WITH QUICK PIPING WORK IN NARROW PLACE BY REVERSING FOLDED TUBES

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for reversing a tube used in repairing a water supply pipe, a drainpipe and an industrial pipe is provided to quickly perform piping work even in a narrow place by reversing flatly folded tubes without a guide tube, and reduce the loss of the tube, compressed air and steam. CONSTITUTION: A rectangular inlet(12) and a circular outlet(14) are formed at both sides of a main body(10). A driving roller(16) and a driven roller(18) are installed between the inlet and the outlet, and feed flatly folded tubes(A). A shutter valve(20) and a valve seat(22) are installed between the rollers and the outlet. A compressed-air inlet(24) is formed between the shutter valve and the outlet. Height controllable legs(26,26') are installed at the bottom of the main body. A tube fixing unit(28) is mounted to the outlet side of the main body, and has first and second fixing plates(30,32). The first and second fixing plates fix the end of the reversed tube. A cover is mounted to the inlet side of the main body, and has a pipe. The reversed end of a steam discharge hose is fixed to the pipe.
