WORKING MECHANISM OF A PNEUMATIC BRAKE DEVICE, INCLUDING A CHAMBER, A BRAKE CAM, A CAM SHAFT, AND A ROTATION RESTRICTION UNIT

PURPOSE: A working mechanism of a pneumatic brake device is provided to prevent excessive rotation of a brake cam caused by excessive wear of a lining and an error of return of the brake cam, by restricting a rotating angle of the brake cam. CONSTITUTION: A working mechanism of a pneumatic brake device comprises a chamber having a push rod moving by compressed air supplied in braking; a brake cam(14) pressing and rotating a brake shoe having one end pivoted on an anchor bracket(18) to make the brake shoe expanded to the inner peripheral surface of a brake drum; a cam shaft connecting the push rod and the brake cam and making the push rod and the brake cam interlock; and a rotation restriction unit restricting the rotating degree of the brake cam to a level of enabling return of the brake cam when braking is released.
