<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic separation method, a traffic separation apparatus, an address information collection node, and a traffic separation system apparatus for specifying and separating a traffic where a peer-to-peer application is caused on a backbone line 5. <P>SOLUTION: The traffic separation system apparatus adopts a characteristic constitution means provided with: a traffic separation apparatus 1 for specifying the traffic where the peer-to-peer application is caused and separating, on the basis of header information for each packet, the above traffic from the traffic caused on the backbone line 5 at an optional region on the major backbone line 5 on an IP network; a plurality of servants 3 connected to the traffic separation apparatus 1 via a plurality of nodes 2, each of which is mounted with the peer-to-peer application to be provided with a server and client function, and a plurality of address information collection nodes 4 each provided with the client function similarly and acquiring address information of the servants 3 connected to the nodes 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
