PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control shift quality during quick up-shifting in a belt type continuously-variable transmission. SOLUTION: In a vehicle with the belt type continuously-variable transmission 300, if quick up-shifting command is performed in a forward running position by using a sequential shift mechanism, an ECU 1000 controls a solenoid 1220 for controlling belt interposing force so as to strengthen contact pressure between pulleys 500 and 600 and a belt 700 comprising the belt type continuously-variable transmission 300.
