PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damping due to air resistance of an ejected X-ray beam and therewith reduce power consumption by improving durability of an X-ray optical control element and shortening an X-ray light path length up to an X-ray irradiation destination by incorporating the X-ray optical control element into an X-ray generator. SOLUTION: The interior of the sealed device body 100 is provided with an electron gun 200 and an anticathode, an electron ejected from the electron gun 200 is made to be collided with the anticathode, and the X-ray beam generated from the surface of the anticathode at that point is ejected from an extraction window 112 to the exterior. The X-ray optical control element 300 to control the X-ray beam flux is installed in the interior of the generator body and furthermore on the output orbit of the X-ray beam flux generated from the anticathode, and the X-ray beam flux controlled by the X-ray optical control element 300 is guided to the extraction window 112.
