DOUBLE-SIDED SCREEN DISPLAY LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided screen display liquid crystal panel which is a thin type, lightweight and inexpensive and has satisfactory visibility. SOLUTION: The double-sided screen display liquid crystal panel is formed by combining a semitransmission type liquid crystal panel with a light emission device. The object of double-sided screen display is attained by using one surface of the semitransmission type panel as a transmission type display and the other surface as a reflection type liquid crystal panel. The light emission device can be used as a front light source of a reflection type display surface and a rear light source of a transmission type display surface. Thus, the object of the double-sided screen display can be attained by using the same panel, and weight reduction and cost reduction of the product can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
