PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rental multiple dwelling house superior in maintenability for easily changing room arrangement according to all needs, and a rental method by this rental multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: This rental multiple dwelling house has at least one free plan house 1 having basic room arrangement 10 of forming a dwelling space except for a toilet 1c, a bathroom 1d, a washer storage space 1e, a washroom 1f, and a kitchen 1g, out of only a partitionless one large space 100, a movable storage 2, a movable partition wall 3, and movable fittings 4 detachably installable in a desired position of the large space 100; and is formed by arranging the movable storage 2, the movable partition wall 3, and the movable fittings 4 in the large space 100 of the free plan house 1, to liking of a dweller moving in the free plan house 1.
