PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accumulative phosphor which is highly sensitive and gives a high-definition radiation image, and to provide a radiation image conversion panel and a recording and replaying method for a radiation image. SOLUTION: The radiation image conversion panel includes an accumulative phosphor layer consisting of a powdery accumulative phosphor and a linking agent. The accumulative phosphor is a lutetium silicate accumulative phosphor activated with cerium of the formula: Lu<SB>w</SB>Y<SB>x</SB>Gd<SB>y</SB>La<SB>z</SB>SiO<SB>p</SB>-aCe, wherein (w), (x), (y) and (z) are numerical values which satisfy 1.5≤w+x+y+z≤2.2, x≥0, y≥0, z≥0 and w/(w+x+y+z)>0.8; (p) is a numerical value which nullifies the electric charge of the compound of the formula; and (a) is a numerical value which satisfies 2×10<SP>-5</SP><a<2×10<SP>-2</SP>.
