PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic excellent in smooth feeling in use, cosmetic film gloss when applied to the skin, pigment dispersibility and stability at high temperatures and with the lapse of time, and also good in shape retainability. SOLUTION: The cosmetic comprises a ditrimethylolpropane derivative having in the molecule at least one hydroxy group and candelilla wax consisting of a hydrocarbon with a specific number of carbon atoms.
