PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cosmetic which has excellent spreadability to the skin and affinity therewith and an excellent effect of imparting smoothness, a moist feeling, flexibility, and a silky feeling without tackiness to the skin. SOLUTION: The skin cosmetic is constituted by comprising a silylated peptide/silane compound copolymer composition having a viscosity at a solid content concentration of 70 mass% at 20°C of 500-20,000 mPa s which is obtained by subjecting a silylated peptide having two or more hydroxyl groups directly bonded to a silicon atom and a silane compound which forms two or more hydroxyl groups directly bonded to a silicon atom by hydrolysis to condensation polymerization and then reacting the resulting product with a silane compound which forms one hydroxyl group directly bonded to a silicon atom by hydrolysis.
