PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use both of one side face and the other side face of a paper rest as paper receiving faces having different degrees of inclination and to change the use of each face in accordance with an ordinary paper and a special paper. SOLUTION: The paper rest 5 is attached to a base body 4 at inclination attitude. A pick-up means 6 for giving feeding force to the paper loaded on the paper rest 5 is provided. Both of the one side face 51 and the other side face 52 of the paper rest 5 have functions as the paper receiving faces. A mounting condition of the paper rest 5 can be selectively selected as a first mounting condition in which the one side face 51 faces the front and a second mounting condition in which the other side face 52 faces the front. The degree of inclination of the one side face 51 in the first mounting condition differs from the degree of inclination of the other side face 52 in the second mounting condition.
