PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cassette from deviating and being removed during operation of an image recording device and conveyance of the cassette by a carrier and transfer the cassette between a cassette receiving part and the carrier securely and smoothly. SOLUTION: A cassette lock mechanism 33 capable of switching lock conditions for each of a cassette tray on an image recording device side and a cassette holding part on a carrier side while the carrier advances into a predetermined transfer position where the cassette is transferred between an image recording device and the carrier is provided in the cassette. The cassette lock mechanism has lock pieces 72, 73 engaging with a locking part 45 of a lock catch 44 on a cassette tray side and a locking hole 55 of the lock catch 54 on a carrier side, respectively. The switching operation is performed by turning a handle 74. A regulation means is selectively engaged with only either of the cassette receiving part on the image recording device side and the cassette holding part on the carrier side to switch locking conditions. Consequently, it is possible to avoid deviation and removal of the cassette during operation of the image recording device and conveyance by the carrier and transfer the cassette between the cassette receiving part and the carrier securely and smoothly.
