PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pack supplying method and a pack supplying apparatus in which the packs are dropped positively from some accumulated packs one by one and supplied. SOLUTION: This pack supplying apparatus has an accumulated pack holding device 3 including lower claws 5 arranged to be insertable or removable to/from accumulated packs 2 so as to receive and support an edge of the lower-most pack at the accumulated packs 2, and upper claws 4 arranged to be insertable or removable in/from the accumulated pack 2 so as to receive and support an edge of the pack second from the lowest pack in the accumulated packs 2, and further has a pack peeling and dropping device 10 for holding the edge of the lower-most pack and dropping the lower-most pack. These devices 3 and 10 are operated by a control device so as to drop only the lower-most pack positively by the pack peeling and dropping device 10 after the lower claw 5 is retracted from below the edge of the lwoer-most pack.
