PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility for temporarily placing a bolt equipped with a shuttle conveyor allowing easy temporary placing of the bolt. SOLUTION: The facility 10 for temporarily placing the bolt comprises the shuttle conveyor 12, a temporary receiving block 80, a temporary receiving block lifting mechanism 85, and a guide member 95. The shuttle conveyor 12 has liftable shuttle arms 61 and 62, and reciprocates between a work piece receiving stage T1 and work piece returning stage T4 and a bolt temporary placing stage T2. The temporary receiving block 80 has a support section 90. When a work piece 1 held by the shuttle arms 61 and 62 falls integrally with the shuttle arms 61 and 62, the support section 90 receives the work piece 1. While the temporary receiving block 80 is lifted down by the temporary receiving block lifting mechanism 85 and the work piece 1 comes onto a sub conveyor 14, the guide member 95 comes into an opening 4 of the work piece 1 and centers the work piece 1.
