PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sediment supplying apparatus which has a simple structure and excellent quantitative supplying performance of sediment. SOLUTION: The sediment supplying apparatus 1 disposed on a storage tank 2 to which water and sediment is fed is provided with a sediment raking machine 7 disposed between a sediment input port 6 and an overflow weir 4, a partition member 10 disposed on the upstream side of the sediment raking machine 7 so as to form a water circulation path 9 around the same and a circulation flow producing means 11 for forcibly producing a circulation flow of water along the circulation path 9. The sediment supplying apparatus 1 is further constituted so as to allow the sediment raking machine 7 to face one part of the circulation flow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
