<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse suitable for improving the convenience of the recognition algorithm of fingerprints and operability according to an increase in authentication rate, and for shortening an operating time. SOLUTION: In operating a mouse 1, at least two fingers of an index finger, a middle finger, and a ring finger are placed on a mouse body 2, and a pair of right and left protrusions 5b and 5a are provided at the positions of the mouse body 2 at which the roots of the placed fingers are brought into contact with the mouse body 2 as the positioning means of the fingers whose fingerprints should be read. Then, the vertical positions of the fingers can be positioned according to the contact of the top ends of the protrusions 5a and 5b with the roots of the fingers.</p> |
