The add-on impeller (1) for a circulating pump is prefabricated in a number of sections. The blades (1.1-1.3) each consist of sheet metal, and the helical blade shape is created by forming of a sheet metal strip. On the inner side the blades are each bounded by a bore in which locates the shaft (10a) of a hub (10) common to all the blades. The hub shaft and blades are materially interconnected. The hub is manufactured as a rotating part from rolled steel.
