ELECTROFUSION-TYPE SADDLE JOINT AND MANUFACTURE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a service tee for special pipe by correcting a saddle part of an electrofusion-type saddle joint molded for a connection pipe, by remolding the saddle part corresponding to an outer surface of another connection pipe having a small diameter within a predetermined ratio with respect to an outer diameter of the connection pipe. SOLUTION: A piercing tool 10 is screwed to a central part of an electrofusion-type service tee, a spigot part 4 is perpendicularly branched from an approximately cylindrical barrel part 2 comprising a screw 20 for movement forward and backward, and a saddle part 3 is formed over a pipe to be connected. This saddle part is corrected by remolding the same corresponding to an outer surface of another connection pipe B having a small diameter within 30% with respect to an outer diameter of a connection pipe A. A heating wire 7 is spirally buried in a bottom inner peripheral surface of the saddle part 3 to provide an electrofusion-type joint connected to the connector pins 8 at both ends.
