The one-piece or multi-section fixture (1) for the fixing of a height variable top of a lifting platform at a fixed distance from a reference surface has support devices (3) installed on a standing frame (2). The support devices engage in or under the at least partially extended platform top at suitable points so that with the travelling down of the lifting platform the platform top remains at a fixed height and the lower frame is raised. The standing frame consists of a tubular construction of a sheet metal construction.
