The device is for the fixing of a fan (3) on a housing (1), whereby the fan has a flange (5) which by at least one fastening element is fastened on the edge (6) of a corresponding window (2) in the housing. Fastening is by means of an adhesive strip (4) which by its double side is stuck to the flange of the fan and to the edge of the window. The shape of the fastening strip conforms to the flange and edge. The fastening strip may have several sections, and on account of its choice of material and dimensioning is designed for the damping of vibrations.
