A process for efficiently producing an antibody of high antibody value against Shiga Toxin. In particular, a process for producing an antibody, comprising the steps of (1) crosslinking the B-subunit of Shiga Toxin and (2) subjecting an animal, in which immune response to the B-subunit of Shiga Toxin can be ascertained as an antibody value in serum by extramucosal immunization, to transmucosal immunization with the crosslinked B-subunit obtained in the step (1); and an antibody produced by the process.
