A tractor allowing a transmission case to be reduced in size, wherein a traveling system transmission mechanism installed between an engine and axles, a PTO system transmission mechanism installed between the engine and a PTO shaft, and a switching mechanism installed between both transmission mechanisms are installed in the transmission case so that such a switching operation that the power transmission of the PTO system transmission mechanism can be cut out at an intermediate part and the downstream side part of the PTO system transmission mechanism can be connected to the downstream side part of the traveling system transmission mechanism can be performed by the switching mechanism, whereby a rotational speed in proportion to the rotational speed of the engine can be transmitted to the PTO shaft by the PTO system transmission mechanism (first PTO system transmission), the rotating speed in proportion to a vehicle speed can be transmitted to the PTO shaft (second PTO system transmission) by performing the switching operation for cutting the power transmission of the PTO system transmission mechanism at the intermediate part and connecting the downstream side part of the PTO system transmission mechanism to the downstream side part of the traveling system transmission mechanism.
