摘要 PURPOSE: An LCD X-ray image detector substrate is provided to obtain an image of high resolution by a high signal-to-noise ratio and improve detection efficiency of electric signals. CONSTITUTION: A lower glass substrate(31) becomes a physical support and has an ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) electrode(32). A fluorescent layer(33) is formed on the lower glass substrate and generates light by collision with radiation. A photo cathode layer(34) is formed on the fluorescent layer for obtaining energy from the light to generate electrons. A gas layer(36) is formed on the photo cathode, being divided into cells by partition walls(37). Gas for electric discharge is injected into the divided cell spaces for generating wall-charge by colliding the electrons with the gas. A reflective layer(200-a) is formed on the gas layer for reflecting light entered from an upper part. A liquid crystal layer(15) is formed on the reflective layer, being divided into cells by spacers(16) and having alignment films(14) on both sides. The liquid crystal is driven by the wall-discharge. A vertical shaft polarizing plate(11) is laminated on an upper glass substrate(12).
