PURPOSE: A bulb using a light emitting diode is provided to improve a stability of a light emitting characteristic by preventing a temperature rise in the light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION: A bulb using a light emitting diode includes the light emitting diode(3), a case(4), and a light transmissive cover(1). The case or the light transmissive cover is formed to enclose the light emitting diode. A gas having more than one gas of a helium, a hydrogen, or a neon is condensed into a closed region formed between the light emitting diode and the case and the light transmissive cover. A volume percentage of a total gas having the helium, hydrogen, and neon gases is more than 5%. The light emitting diode is bonded in a chip, or is molded using a resin. |
