CHANNEL AUTHORITY AUTHENTICATION METHOD USING AN NAD IN A BROADCASTING COMMUNICATION FUSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A channel authority authentication method using an NAD(Network Access Device) in a broadcasting communication fusion system is provided to offer a quick service to a user by processing the authority of the user independent of an AAA(Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) server. CONSTITUTION: An NAD is initialized by the booting of the NAD by receiving and storing channel authority authentication information from an AAA server(31,32). The NAD performs authentication using stored channel authority authentication information according to the channel request of an STB(Set-Top Box), and switches the requested channel(33). The NAD changes and stores stored channel authority authentication information according to an update signal with respect to channel authority authentication information from the AAA server(34,35).
