摘要 PURPOSE: Modified polyester binder fiber is characterized by having softening temperature being lower and melting point being higher than modified heat adhesive polyester, having excellent heat adhesion property, having clear color and being capable of reducing the hang thereof when the fiber is used at over heat adhesive temperature. A manufacturing method thereof is provided. CONSTITUTION: Modified polyester binder fiber is obtained by the steps of esterifying over 95mol% of terephthalic acid or dimethyl terephthalic acid as bivalent acidic ingredient and over 90mol% of ethylene glycol. A main chain contains 25-45mol% of diethylene glycol terephthalate ingredient based on mole of the total terephthalate ingredient. The modified polyester binder fiber has 40-55deg.C of glass transition temperature and 100-160deg.C of initial softening temperature.
