<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing unit capable of preventing fogging on an image printed on a sheet and uneven density in the image by stirring and carrying developer without applying a load unnecessarily, and uniformizing toner concentration. <P>SOLUTION: The developing unit is constituted of a developer container 10 where an upper storing part 11 and a lower storing part 12 are vertically arranged, a 1st stirring member 13 for stirring the developer in the upper storing part 11, a 2nd stirring member 14 for stirring the developer in the lower storing part 12 and a developer carrier 18 for holding and carrying the developer in the lower storing part 12, and also, a plurality of communication paths 61 communicating between the upper storing part 11 and the lower storing part 12 are arranged between both axial ends of the 1st stirring member 13 on the side part opposite to the side where the developer carrier 18 is arranged in the developer container 10, and each communication path 61 is provided with a flow inlet 62 on the side of the upper storing part 11 and a flow outlet 63 on the side of the lower storing part 12, and the flow inlet 62 and the flow outlet 63 are arranged while shifting them in the axial direction of the 1st stirring member 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
