<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a conventional problem that when the composition of iron oxide in non-magnetic ferrite is reduced to attain high insulation resistance, the deposition of ZnO and CuO is increased and low resistance phase is deposited with the exposure in a reducing atmosphere to increase the risk of the occurrence of insulation defect. <P>SOLUTION: The non-magnetic ferrite is obtained by adding titanium oxide and molybdenum oxide as additives into a composition of ferrite containing Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, CuO and ZnO. By the addition of TiO<SB>2</SB>and MoO<SB>3</SB>, the non-magnetic ferrite and the layered electronic component, which have excellent low temperature sintering property, high strength and in which the deposition of CuO or ZnO is suppressed and high insulation resistance is attained even in the case of being exposed to the reducing atmosphere, are obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
